The Transparency of US Government Obama Promised Is Out: Less Access Than Ever for Press Photographers Seeking to Cover Obama White House

When Barack Obama was running for president in 2008 once of the HUGE promises he made to the nation was a new level of “transparency” in government. Just the opposite has happened since then. When CNN begins to whine this loudly, you KNOW that something has clamped shut for good. Have a listen. In any other society this action would be labeled as censorship. The phrase that CNN did employ to describe what’s happening is: “they are banning the free press from covering the Obama White House.”

That’s just another way of calling censorship what it is: suppression of the free press, and strict over-control of the message [ in media and photos ] which comes out of the White House. I see this as another ominous development in the Obama presidency.

HUGE Blowback from CNN Plan to Make a Documentary on Hillary Clinton: Project Cancelled

It would appear that the “marketing of Hillary” as the DNC choice for 2016 by the elites has received a minor setback for the time being.  Now that more of us collectively “get it” and the American populace is becoming sick to death of having our political candidates pre-picked, pre-packaged, pre-marketed and pre-sold to us, irregardless of our own sentiments in the matter, I wonder how these BIG MEDIA outlets like CNN who comply with the mandates of the elites will adjust their Illuminati agenda accordingly?

I honestly believe it has gotten so bad that millions don’t even bother to vote anymore. The MEDIA pre-elect our presidents by sheer aggression. It’s impossible for any presidential candidate to have a fair chance when some of the biggest news outlets in the US offer other candidates [who are clearly pre-chosen by the elites] free air time in the form of lengthy flattering documentaries which are tailor made to mold public opinion and send them on to the White House.

As much as I would love to see a woman commander-in-chief elected in America, I will be damned if I intend to vote for Hillary Clinton.  A vote for Hillary is a vote for the CFR. Hell to the ‘NO’.

Director abandons CNN documentary on Hillary Clinton

By Liana B. Baker and Gabriel Debenedetti

Sept 30 | Mon Sep 30, 2013 8:28pm IST

(Reuters) – Cable news network CNN has canceled a documentary on Hillary Rodham Clinton after the director said pressure from the Clinton camp as well as Republican leaders made it too difficult to complete the film.

A CNN spokeswoman confirmed on Monday that the program would be canceled, saying director “Charles Ferguson has informed us that he is not moving forward with his documentary about Hillary Clinton.”

Political observers widely expect Clinton, whose early polling numbers make her the Democratic frontrunner in the presidential race in 2016. Clinton, the former U.S. Secretary of State, has said she is still considering her options.

In a blog post on the Huffington Post website, Ferguson, who had been tapped by CNN to direct to the film last year, said pressure from Clinton’s aides started as soon as he joined the project. He said he had found it difficult to get anyone to cooperate and speak about Clinton.

“When I approached people for interviews, I discovered that nobody, and I mean nobody, was interested in helping me make this film. Not Democrats, not Republicans – and certainly nobody who works with the Clintons, (who) wants access to the Clintons, or dreams of a position in a Hillary Clinton administration,” Ferguson said in the blog post.

Clinton representatives could not be reached for comment.

Ferguson said he was surprised that “prominent Democrats made it known both to CNN and to me” that they weren’t happy with the project.

Ferguson also cited pushback from the Republican Party. In August, Republican leaders sent letters of protest to both CNN and NBC, complaining that their planned programs amounted to political ads for Clinton, the wife of former President Bill Clinton.

The NBC television network is planning a dramatic miniseries from its entertainment unit, which is separate from its news division. NBC did not immediately return a request for comment on Monday.

Republican leaders had resolved to boycott any 2016 presidential debates sponsored by CNN, which is owned by Time Warner Inc, and NBC, owned by Comcast Corp, if the networks went ahead with the projects.

Ferguson said he was not pressured by CNN to cancel the project, and that the network’s president, Jeff Zucker, had pledged his support behind the film.

“Neither political party wanted the film made. After painful reflection, I decided that I couldn’t make a film of which I would be proud. And so I’m cancelling,” Ferguson said in the blog post.

International Manhunt on for British “White Widow” Spotted at Kenya Mall Massacre: Interpol Red Notice Issued

A British or Irish woman believed to be involved in the Kenyan Mall massacre is wanted  by Interpol and an international RED NOTICE has now been issued for her arrest.  29 year old British national Samantha Lewthwaite is wanted by Interpol after witnesses and video-cams caught her entering the mall among the other Somali terrorists during the recent Kenya mall massacre. Lewthwaite has been dubbed the “White Widow.” Bomb making materials were found in her Mombasa Kenya apartment in 2011.  Lewthwaite escaped before officials could arrest her in 2011 in Mombasa. Help Interpol locate her by re-posting and re-circulating this information.

  • Al-Shabaab gunmen stormed a mall in Kenya last weekend

(CNN) — Interpol said Thursday it issued a red notice for Samantha Lewthwaite, the so-called “White Widow,” at the request of Kenyan authorities.

Reports that a white woman was among the terrorists who stormed a mall in Nairobi last weekend have prompted a slew of media speculation about Lewthwaite, a British woman whose husband was one of the suicide bombers in the 2005 London terror attacks.

Known as the “White Widow,” Lewthwaite, 29, has been wanted by international counter-terrorism officials since authorities found bomb-making materials in her Mombasa, Kenya, apartment in 2011. She vanished shortly before a raid.

Red notices issued by the international police agency alert law enforcement around the world that a person is wanted, but they are not arrest warrants.

“By requesting an Interpol Red Notice, Kenya has activated a global ‘tripwire’ for this fugitive,” said Interpol Secretary General Ronald K. Noble.

“Through the Interpol Red Notice, Kenyan authorities have ensured that all 190 member countries are aware of the danger posed by this woman, not just across the region but also worldwide,” he said.

A senior Kenyan official said Tuesday a woman was involved in the attack. Another official said Wednesday that authorities can’t say much about who the woman was or what she was doing.

Al-Shabaab gunmen stormed the Westgate mall Saturday. At least 67 people were killed and as many as 63 people are still unaccounted for.

Terror Attack At Shopping Mall in Nairobi Kenya Leaves 68 Dead, More Than 175 Wounded, 30 Hostages Held Inside Mall

at Kenya mall as hostages hide

68 people are now confirmed dead in the Nairobi Kenya shopping mall massacre.

More than 30 people are still being held hostage inside the mall at this time. Terror group Al-Shabaab is taking responsibility for this attack, which appears to be a retaliation for Kenyan military actions taken in Somalia. Television coverage of this event is being carefully edited, as the attackers are still inside the mall with hostages and are watching live TV coverage of the attack. 3 of the attackers were born in the United States. Two are from Saint Paul Minnesota, and one if from Kansas City Missouri.

Cited from the L.A. Times news website:

“Al Shabab has sought to strike back at Kenya, which sent troops into southern Somalia in 2011 and pushed the group’s fighters out of the port city of Kismayo, once a key source of Al Shabab’s revenue. Kenya’s troops have struggled to quell the Islamists’ control over the countryside.

Al Shabab said in posts on its Twitter account that it had warned there would be consequences when Kenyan forces entered Somalia to fight the militants. The group used the hashtag #Westgate, saying it was a revenge attack.

“By land, air and sea, Kenyan forces invaded our Muslim country, killing hundreds of Muslims in the process and displacing thousands more,” Al Shabab tweeted.

It said it had told the Kenyan government on numerous occasions to withdraw its forces.

“The Kenyan government, however, turned a deaf ear to our repeated warnings and continued to massacre innocent Muslims in Somalia,” Al Shabab said. “For long we have waged war against the Kenyans in our land, now it’s time to shift the battleground and take the war to their land.”

Survivors who were interviewed right after the attack began on 9.21.2013 who had fled outside and down the street, away from the gunfire at the mall said the Somali attackers asked fleeing crowds if any of them were Muslim, and then said to the crowd that the Muslims could leave.  Many of the dead were women and children.  The attackers also used hand grenades during the attack.

(CNN) — Police and gunmen were facing off Saturday night in an upscale shopping mall in the Kenyan capital after an attack that killed at least 30 people, authorities said.

Several hours after the assault began, Al-Shabaab, an al-Qaeda-linked militant group based in Somalia, claimed responsibility for the bloodshed.

“The Mujahideen entered #WestgateMall today at around noon and are still inside the mall,” the Islamic extremist group said on its Twitter account.

But authorities said they had cornered the gunmen in the mall as of Saturday night.

“Attackers of Westgate shopping mall have been isolated and pinned down in a room by security forces in the ongoing operation,” Kenyan police said on Twitter.

Gunmen take hostages at Kenya mall

One suspect was killed, said a Kenyan official who did not want to be identified because of the sensitivity of the information. There were also 100 people injured, the official said.

Americans were among those injured, but the majority of casualties are Kenyan, authorities said.

Another suspected gunman is in the hospital and is being detained by authorities, said national police on its Twitter account.

As darkness fell in Nairobi, authorities said as many as 36 hostages are still being held by the gunmen in the mall, according to journalist Martin Cuddihy of the Australian Broadcasting Corp., who was at the scene and interviewed by CNN.

“Our security forces have taken control of the situation,” said Joseph Ole Lenku, the national government’s cabinet secretary for interior and coordination.

A security agent told CNN’s Lillian Leposo at the scene that the violence was a terrorist attack.

“They have strong reason that these men are terrorists,” Leposo said.

Kenya’s Deputy President H.E. William Ruto said in a statement Saturday: “The government will bring the siege to end” at the mall. He called the gunmen’s deadly attack a “cowardly and dastardly act,” and he commiserated with families whose loved ones were injured or killed, he said.

“We will bring to account the perpetrators and their accomplices. Our security is important,” Ruto said.

Americans were also injured in the attack, said Deputy State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf.

“We condemn this senseless act of violence that has resulted in death and injury for many innocent men, women and children,” Harf said. “Due to privacy considerations, we have no further comment on American citizens at this time.”

Somalia’s president sent condolences Saturday to the people of neighboring Kenya.

“These heartless acts against defenseless civilians, including innocent children, are beyond the pale and cannot be tolerated,” President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said in a statement. “We stand shoulder to shoulder with Kenya in its time of grief for these lives lost and the many injured.”

‘It was really, really loud’

In CNN interviews with several witnesses, one man having coffee in the mall recounted a chaotic scene that included exploding grenades.

What first sounded like a fallen table became repeated gunfire. When the gunshots became loud, people screamed and ran for exits, said Uche Kaigwa-Okoye.

People ran outside, but when they heard gunshots outdoors too, they ran back inside the mall, Kaigwa-Okoye told CNN.

Then, he and others realized the gunfire moved to his floor in the four-story mall, so they all ran for cover in the bathroom.

“We quickly entered the toilet and hid in one of the cubicles. We must have been 20” in number, he said.

“They had grenades, and it was really, really loud. All of us felt like they were close,” he said of the explosions.

Tear gas was fired in the corridor, he said.

He saw people in his group texting to family and friends outside the mall, and word spread not to trust anybody in the mall, he said. “When the police started firing, you don’t know who is firing,” he said.

He and others escaped only when they saw 20 police officers on the floor, he said.

‘There was blood throughout the supermarket’

One American inside the mall parking lot described hiding in stairwell with several people, including two people with superficial gunshot wounds, for more than an hour while the shooting was occurring, she told CNN.

Sara Head of Washington was in Kenya on business when she and her colleague were driven into the parking lot by their driver, she said. When they heard gunfire, they crawled underneath cars and hid behind them. They then ran into the stairwell, she said.

“There were several of us in there, but there were two people bleeding,” she said.

Eventually, she and others in the stairwell saw the lights turned back on in the stairwell and the door to a nearby supermarket open, so they all fled the mall through the supermarket and its loading dock.

“There was blood throughout the supermarket as we exited, on the floor,” she said.

Frightened visitors to the mall didn’t even know whether it was safe to escape.

“It wasn’t clear that it was OK to exit. I was sort of sheep following,” she said.

The gunmen shot one person inside his car and two more people on the street as they entered the mall area, Leposo said.

Confusion continued about the origin of the gunmen, Leposo said. The attackers appeared to be of Somali origin, a Kenyan government source and Western diplomatic sources told CNN. But Leposo said there were reports that the gunmen were wearing masks, obscuring any identification.

Meanwhile, the army was mobilized to the mall, and two armored vehicles and an army helicopter joined police as both agencies were trying to secure the four-story mall floor by floor, Leposo said.

As distressed people are pulled out of the mall, they are surrounded by heavy security and are able to speak with family and authorities only, Leposo said.

The gunmen burst into the mall and shot indiscriminately, taking some people hostage, according to a senior Kenyan government source.

Several hours into the seige, gunshots inside the mall could still be heard by people outside the mall at about 10:30 a.m. Eastern, Leposo said.

Two years ago, there was a security alert sent the ex-patriot community to avoid the high-end mall because of reports of a planned attack at the mall, Leposo said.

Another witness Saturday recounted the outburst of bullets inside the mall.

“All of a sudden we heard some shots and people rushing,” said Zulobia Kassam, who was having coffee at the mall. “We realized we were under attack. We rushed to the back, trying to hide and we heard random shots from everywhere — upstairs, downstairs.”

She said they stayed in hiding for about 40 minutes before sneaking out through a back door.

“People were petrified, crying, praying,” she said. “We were told there were hostages being held.”

‘Let police do their job’

It was unclear how many hostages the attackers took, but police are trying to negotiate for their release and retake the building, according to the source.

Crowds dashed down the streets as soldiers in military fatigues crawled under cars to get closer to the mall, guns cocked.

Surveillance helicopters flew overhead.

Police took those rescued from the building to a secluded place for vetting to ensure they were not attackers. They streamed away from the mall in a straight line, arms raised up in the air.

The military asked local media not to televise anything live because the gunmen are watching the screens in the mall.

“We urge Kenyans to keep off Westgate mall, adjacent roads and its environs until further notice,” the interior ministry said in a statement.

“We’re doing our job to ensure that everyone is evacuated to safety,” the ministry said. “This is a scene of crime, let police do their job.”

Authorities said multiple shooters were at the scene and terrified shoppers were hiding inside the mall, which is popular among expatriates and the wealthy.

The high-end mall opened six years ago, and has more than 80 stores.

Village Market, another shopping center frequented by foreigners, shut down for the day as a precaution.

CNN’s Nima Elbagir and Boriana Milanova contributed to this report. Zulobia Kassam, a witness quoted in this story, is related to CNN’s Zain Verjee. CNN’s Jamie Crawford also contributed.

ABC, CBS & CNN Top Executives All Have Siblings, Spouses Working Directly for Obama

Re-posted on 5.13.2013 from

For years and years I have taken great pains to point out that our so called “mainstream media” is a direct extension of the White House. I watched as this faux and fully “lamestream media” [ I originally coined the term back in the summer of 2009 ] helped Barack Obama to get elected to the White House in 2008 by steadfastly refusing to vet or investigate him even a little bit during the 2008 presidential campaign.

So I am not surprised by the following story, but it’s too damn bad this could not have come out in the summer of 2009 when all of middle America was still trying to fathom just exactly WTF had just happened and how a complete political unknown had come out of nowhere and walked into the White House. For years it was an uphill battle to convince non-affiliated independent voters that something DIRE was taking place via the full merging of Big Media outlets with White House policy. The death of a free and independent media applying their best effort at producing real journalism is the defacto death of a free and independent society. Unless urgent action is taken to legally do something to unravel the present tangle of legs, arms, torsos and other body parts which are gyrating wildly in plain view, the continued public spectacle of a make believe national media community which is openly in bed with the White House will make it impossible for journalism to stay alive. The wicked mess will only further engender mass corruption, coverups, lies, obfuscation, misdirection, and every other ugly variety of draping the veil over the eyes of the public as to what motives lie behind White House actions. In other words: this is serious.

Here’s the article:

ABC, CBS & CNN Top Executives All Have Siblings, Spouses Working Directly for Obama

cbs-nbc-abc-obama-logosWell this explains the media’s Benghazi cover-up and the tongue baths for Obama on a daily basis. Turns out that ABC, CBS and CNN all have top executives that just so happen to have siblings or spouses who work directly for Obama in his corrupt regime. Want to know why Fast and Furious was blown off? Want to know why Michelle Obama’s secret hospital visit to Saudi National Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi was never reported? Now we know. The only network missing from this list is NBC. They of course were owned by GE when Obama first became president, and Obama has cozyed up to GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt. He still sits on Obama’s board of advisers today. Even though Comcast bought a majority stake in NBC/Universal, GE still owns a significant minority share in the propaganda network.

Virginia Mosley, Ben Sherwood, David Brooks propaganda media

ABC, CBS & CNN executives tied to the White House

CBS News President David Rhodes’ brother is Obama Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes, who was instrumental in rewriting the Benghazi talking points. But it gets worse. It is now learned that ABC President Ben Sherwood’s sister, Dr. Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, is a Special Assistant to Barack Obama on national security affairs. But even this isn’t it! CNN’s deputy bureau chief, Virginia Moseley, is the wife of Tom Nides, who until February was Hillary Clinton’s deputy.

Ben Rhodes is a top NSC advisor with absolutely no foreign policy or military experience. None! This idiot has advocated intervention both in Libya and now Syria. How has that worked out for us? He is responsible for helping to massage the Benghazi talking points to watered down drivel. His greatest accomplishment appears to be a Master’s Degree in fiction writing received from New York University. So perhaps we should call him Obama’s fiction writer!

The Pet Goat versus going to sleep during a terrorist attack. Cindy Sheehan versus Pat Smith. And Valerie Plame versus the Benghazi Four.

Gee, no bias there.

We have a fascist media on our hands, bound as tightly to the government as NPR. And it’s high time that we treat them as the pariahs they truly are.

FBI: ‘Exercise Caution and Attempt to Verify Information Through Appropriate Official Channels Before Reporting’

I cannot substantiate any of the reported breaking news stories which state a suspect in the Boston Marathon Bombing has been arrested as of noon pacific time 4.17.2013 in my region. There are plenty of headlines with almost no substantiating facts or images. I’m still looking for verification that an arrest has indeed been made. 11:40 am and Google News just posted an article stating they have a face but no name and are “seeking” the suspect. Other reports may be in error which state an arrest has been made, but I am posting the links to those stories as well. The FBI and other US officials deny that any arrest has been made as of 12:45 pm pacific time 4.17.2013.

Feds Deny Reports Suspect in Custody

“Authorities investigating the Boston Marathon bombing said Wednesday they have the face but not the name of someone seen on video leaving a black bag near the scene of the blasts. The person was seen on a surveillance camera from a Lord & Taylor department store, one official said. Investigators said they had “solid leads” after viewing hundreds of hours of video. NBC News sources said there had not been an arrest.”

Video surveillance photos from a nearby Lord & Taylor retail store located on Boylston Street was used to procure the images which identified the bomber. Cited from USA Today:

“CNN’s John King quotes the sources as saying that surveillance video from a nearby Lord &Taylor department store was key in the investigation. Television footage also played a role, CNN reports.

“The camera from Lord & Taylor is the best source of video so far,” said Dot Joyce, a spokeswoman for Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino tells the Boston Globe. “All I know is that they are making progress.”

A law enforcement official, who described the investigation as “very active,” told USA TODAY that authorities have been focusing on a mass of photographic evidence provided by the public and area security cameras. But the source indicated that there mixed views on the value of the analysis so far.

“There is a lot going on,” said the official, who is not authorized to comment publicly on the investigation.”

North Korean Escapee: “Farm Animals Are Treated Better in the Outside World Than People in North Korea.”

A North Korean woman who defected to South Korea shortly after Kim Jong Un came to power recently spoke with a western CNN reporter and described a country where people are so desperate for food that they eat grass and leaves off of trees. I have actually seen video footage of North Korean citizens foraging for grass and leaves in the many immaculate public parks which dot Pyongyang.

The escapee stated that food prices had tripled in the last year since Jong Un came to power after his father’s death. She and her entire family were starving, hadn’t had food in three days, and they had at one point decided to commit suicide together by starvation, when she decided she wanted to live and begin making her plans to get out of North Korea. She now lives in Seoul South Korea.

“To survive, I had to eat grass. People pick grass and leaves and use them to make soup,” said the defector who now lives in South Korea. Reports out of North Korea suggest food prices have tripled in the past year.

More than 25% of North Korean children under the age of five suffered from chronic malnutrition in 2012, according to the National Nutrition Survey of North Korea, a report backed by UNICEF, the World Food Program and the World Health Organization. The report also found nearly one in three women suffered from anemia.

As many as 3.5 million people are estimated to have died during North Korea’s severe famine of the 1990s, according to South Korean NGO Good Friends Center for Peace, Human Rights, and Refugees. Official North Korean numbers estimate 220,000 people died.”

She made the statements to the reporter that after she got out and was exposed to the rest of the world she realized that “farm animals in the outside world are treated better than the people of North Korea.”

Syria’s Assad Rumored to Be Mixing Chemical Components for Sarin Nerve Gas

A satellite image of al-Safir, Syria's main chemical weapons facility, near Aleppo.

Aerial view of one of Syria’s known chemical weapons stockpile locations.

Several US media outlets are reporting that the Syrian military has begun mixing certain chemical components necessary for the production of Sarin nerve gas. Cited  from WIRED magazine’s coverage:

“Engineers working for the Assad regime in Syria have begun combining the two chemical precursors needed to weaponize sarin gas, an American official with knowledge of the situation tells Danger Room. International observers are now more worried than they’ve even been that the Damascus government could use its nerve agent stockpile to slaughter its own people.

The U.S. doesn’t know why the Syrian military made the move, which began in the middle of last week and is taking place in central Syria. Nor are they sure why the Assad government is transferring some weapons to different locations within the country, as the New York Times reported on Monday.

All that’s certain is that the arms have now been prepped to be used, should Assad order it.

“Physically, they’ve gotten to the point where the can load it up on a plane and drop it,” the official adds. “

This story is still breaking and complete details are sketchy. The issue is so serious that even Syria’s main source for arms, Russia, has made a statement intended to discourage Assad from moving in the direction of chemical weapons. If rumored reports are true, it’s obviously a dire development. Here’s what I have found on this story today:
